Is AmifeedX a trading platform?

No. AmifeedX does not place trades, manage orders, or execute transactions. It is strictly a data integration and analysis support tool.

Who is AmifeedX for?

AmifeedX is intended for traders and analysts who already use AmiBroker and want to work with market data from their own trading account in a clean and structured way.

Data & API Usage

Where does the data come from?

Market data is fetched directly from your broker through official APIs provided to your trading account. AmifeedX does not generate, modify, or resell market data.

Do you provide market data?

No. AmifeedX does not provide market data.
All data originates from your own trading account and is subject to your broker’s terms and conditions.

Does AmifeedX store or redistribute data?

No. AmifeedX operates locally on your system. It does not collect, store, aggregate, or redistribute market data to any external servers.

Is real-time data supported?

Data availability (real-time, delayed, or historical) depends entirely on what your broker provides through their API
and your account permissions.

Can I use AmifeedX with multiple brokers?

Support depends on broker API availability and compatibility. Only brokers with accessible APIs and supported formats can be integrated.

AmiBroker

Is AmifeedX affiliated with AmiBroker?

No. AmifeedX is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AmiBroker.

Does AmifeedX modify AmiBroker?

No. AmifeedX feeds data into AmiBroker using supported mechanisms. It does not alter AmiBroker binaries, settings, or internal logic.

Will my existing charts and AFL scripts work?

Yes. As long as your AmiBroker setup expects standard price and volume data, existing charts, indicators, and scans should continue to work as designed.

Trading, Advice & SEBI Compliance

Does AmifeedX provide trading advice?

No. AmifeedX does not provide investment advice, trading calls, recommendations, signals, or strategy suggestions.

Is AmifeedX registered with SEBI?

SEBI registration is required for entities providing investment advice, research analysis, portfolio management,
or trading recommendations. AmifeedX does not perform any of these activities and therefore does not require SEBI registration.

Does using AmifeedX require SEBI approval?

No. Using software tools for charting and analysis does not require SEBI approval. Users remain fully responsible for their trading decisions and compliance with applicable regulations.

Does AmifeedX influence trading decisions?

No. AmifeedX only delivers data. All interpretation, analysis, and trading decisions are made solely by the user.

Is backtesting considered investment advice?

No. Backtesting is a form of historical analysis performed by the user. AmifeedX does not provide strategies, parameters, or conclusions from backtests.

Exchange & Broker Usage

How does AmifeedX work with brokers and exchanges?

AmifeedX connects to your trading account using APIs made available by your broker and delivers the resulting market data into AmiBroker for analysis.

The software operates within the technical access provided to your account and does not introduce additional data layers or redistribute market data.

Is AmifeedX affiliated with any exchange or broker?

AmifeedX is an independent software product designed to work alongside existing trading platforms and analysis tools. It does not represent, replace, or act on behalf of any broker or exchange.

Does using AmifeedX require special exchange approval?

Using analysis software with data sourced from your trading account does not require separate exchange approval. Data availability and usage are governed by the agreement between you and your broker.

Who controls data access and permissions?

What happens if a broker changes their API?

Broker APIs evolve over time. If an API changes, AmifeedX adapts where possible to maintain compatibility. Availability of data ultimately depends on the broker’s systems and policies.

Is AmifeedX a data vendor?

No. AmifeedX is a software tool that processes and delivers data made available through your trading account for analysis purposes.

Security & Privacy

Where are my API credentials stored?

API credentials are stored locally on your system. They are not transmitted to AmifeedX servers or shared with third parties.

Does AmifeedX access my funds?

No. AmifeedX does not have access to funds, balances, or order placement. It operates in a read-only data context.

Is my data sent to the cloud?

No. AmifeedX runs locally and does not upload market data or credentials to external servers.

Limitations & Responsibility

Can AmifeedX guarantee data accuracy?

No. Data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness depend on the broker API and data source. AmifeedX delivers data as received.

What happens if the broker API is down?

If the broker API is unavailable or unstable, data flow may be interrupted. This is outside the control of AmifeedX.

Is AmifeedX responsible for trading losses?

No. Trading outcomes depend entirely on user decisions. AmifeedX does not provide advice or influence trades.

Can AmifeedX be used for automated trading?
